FACES
While making the “New Girls” series I thought it would be interesting to apply a digital tool to my new approach. I developed a process that allowed me to digitize one of my paintings and compress it into a line, then use that line to draw the portrait series “Faces.” This method seemed to relate the portraits organically to the process my other works had gone through. The digital lines I was now drawing held physical information from the previous handmade drawings, but also had a unique line of their own.
